Emu Esi4000 And Scsi

The Emu Esi4000 Sampler Uses Scsi as it's primary means storage....surley antiquated and most people thinks its garbage but there are quite a few ''Modern'' work arounds for this...one awesome way is to get Chicken Systems Translator Pro.....it lets u read write format and convert almoast any sampler's native format!

So i got a Copy then began saving all the the banks from my zip100'and converting others...i also picked up a 36gb scsi Hard drive to work with the emu.....but turns out it can only read 4gb of it!Bummer...so i partitioned it inside my Pc....then formatted it winthin TransLator And Walla!no more zips to screw around with......and so much faster....no everyone knows Esi's are capable of reading emu and akai sample cd's right?Well i found a scsi Dvd rom drive.....so i opened up translator then made an emu disk image of 4gb then transfered all my banks to it then burned the image to a dvd Rom Hooked it up and Wala! I've done it agin!

Rejuvinated!

Ok so its been a long time since ive updated anything her....with the arrival of my daughter work and all ive been pretty busy.....well in the mena time the Rambler has temporaraly retired from Daily Driver Duty to get some repair done......in the mean time I picked Up a 93 Blazer 4x4 to drive nice powerful GM 4.3 V6 but i miss old Rambly....

Alsoin my musical neck of the woods i picked up an Akai Mpc500 as well as a EmuEsi4000 to repalce my dead Esi32...rock solid combo....and i did a lil modyfying an deven got an external Cd Drive To work with the Emu...More on these individual Subjects Later...feels good to be back!
